Pondkit sat and watched as a light ginger she cat was followed by a brown mottled tom, and a dark gray tabby, which happened to be Pondkit's father Riverwing.
The cats in the large grassy clearing looked at the patrol also, because the patrol dragged the scent of fear with them, slapping everyone in the face.
Sweetbramble, Pondkit's mother, came out of the nursery to see what was going on, but instead she padded over to her kits and wrapped her thick tail around Pondkit, Bramblekit, and Rockkit.

Thrushwing woke up suddenly to the sound of warriors chanting.
"We shall win! HillClan shall pay!"
This continued on for a little bit, shaking Thrushwing back into reality. She slowly got up and did a quick stretch, showing her lean and strong muscles.
"I must prepare herbs for everyone," The pale black she cat muttered to herself, "Or we will loose the battle."
Thrushwing gathered a bundle of beech leaves and started to take out berries and leaves from her shelves.
They soon piled up beside her, and once she was finished, she started making the battle remedies.

The Three-Chapter 7
Pondkit and her brothers bounced around happily as they learned Silverwind's kitting was sucessful. There were three she cats and three toms, filling the nursery quite enough. The father was Shrewstar, which surprised Thrushwing, but other than that, nothing bad really happened. Everyone was just waiting on the battle patrol to be back.
Silverwind's kits had nice names, satisfying Pondkit. The toms were Jaykit, Leafkit, and Stormkit. The she cats were Mistkit, Squirrelkit, and tiny Nightkit. Their names related to their appearances, and Pondkit liked this. It reminded her of her own name.
